Crombie, one of Britain' most renowned makers of clothes have been around since 1805.
Founded by J.J. Crombie in Aberdeen, then relocating to Leeds, the 'Crombie Coat' has been worn by statesmen, noblemen, adopted and adapted by the Mod and Skinhead subculture' of the 1960's and 70's, today remaining a staple of the modern dressed gentlemans wardrobe.

The Lion looks to the left, looking to the past and protecting over the Ram who looks forward to the future whilst mounted in the white rose of Yorkshire, flanked by the national flower of Scotland - the thistle, whilst the weavers shuttle and bobin takes centre stage to show the workmanship that goes into the making of the Crombie range. The typeface shows clean cut lines and the colour red gives reference to the city of Aberdeen, from where Crombie originates.
